As a Senior Buyer, you'll procure goods and services cost-effectively and timely. You'll develop relationships, negotiate contracts, and work closely with suppliers to maintain inventory levels. You'll maintain a lean inventory, implement cost-saving strategies, and ensure planning data integrity. Managing key supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services
* Leading initiatives to reduce expenses, and developing annual plans for continuous cost reduction improvements with suppliers
* Developing, maintaining and strengthening supplier relationships through effective contract negotiation, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
* Ensuring that planning parameters within the procurement software system support lean inventory requirements
* Mentoring less experienced buyers to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and developing their skills

* Supplier performance Knowledge - Possess in-depth knowledge of purchasing, procurement, supplier management supply chain management and strategic procurement implementation.

Compensation & Benefits:
* The base pay for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year depending on the geographic market.
