Job Summary

Employee Benefits Client Executive – Tactical and operational leadership in design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of large client benefit plans, ensuring compliance and recommending strategies aligned with long‑term objectives.

• Manage all policy activity and stewardship aspects in assigned book of business.
• Analyze and report on relevant claims data for larger accounts, spotting trends and comparing client data to industry benchmarks.
• Ensure client compliance with benefits regulations and act as an informed resource on ACA and future government changes.
• Sustain current knowledge of government regulations and ensure legal compliance with FMLA, COBRA, ACA, ERISA, and other applicable laws, including reporting and compliance requirements.
• Promote a culture of vigilance, accountability, collaboration, strong ethical standards, and high client satisfaction.
• Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and completion when interacting with clients, the firm, and insurance company partners to minimize potential for errors and omissions.
• Manage large accounts independently without assistance from leadership or an advisor.
• Review existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited or if changes are needed throughout the year and at renewal.
• Cultivate strong relationships with insurance company partners.
• Manage multiple priorities and adapt to continually changing responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes; bring issues to appropriate leadership.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

• State insurance license(s) required or willingness to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), SPHR, or PHR preferred.
• Minimum of five years of insurance and/or benefits related experience, including leading an account management team.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to learn and utilize firm and insurance company software systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to produce clear and effective communication to audiences.
• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate the firm’s core values.

Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with some travel required.

Starting salary $145,000‑$160,000 annually (salary is negotiable based on time of hire).
