Position Overview

The Principal, Strategy & Platform Transformation partners with executive leadership to shape strategic priorities, drive transformation initiatives, and ensure operational execution across high‑impact programs. This role is based in Irvine, California, with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Support enterprise strategic initiatives through structured analysis, business‑case development, and operational execution planning.
  • Translate strategic priorities into measurable initiatives, KPIs, and execution roadmaps.
  • Identify business risks, dependencies, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve execution effectiveness.
  • Support platform transformation, AI‑enabled capabilities, and cross‑functional operational initiatives.
  • Conduct market, industry, competitive, and operational research to support leadership decision‑making.
  • Assist in developing executive‑level recommendations and strategic options.
  • Prepare executive‑ready presentations, strategic narratives, business updates, and leadership materials.
  • Synthesize complex information, operational metrics, and strategic concepts into concise actionable insights.
  • Build clear and compelling visual storytelling through PowerPoint and presentation design.
  • Track and govern strategic initiatives, milestones, and deliverables; develop reporting, dashboards, and operational summaries.
  • Use data‑driven analysis to identify trends, performance insights, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with technology, product, operations, finance, and business teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders, functional stakeholders, and transformation teams across the organization.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments with competing priorities.
  • Support strategic workshops, planning sessions, and cross‑functional coordination activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of functional experience and 5+ years of position‑specific experience in management consulting, strategy, transformation, or business operations.
  • Prior experience at a top‑tier consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and executive presentation development skills required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities, including modelling, data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and high‑visibility business initiatives.
  • Familiarity with platform business models, digital transformation, AI‑enabled operations, or technology strategy preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution and follow‑through.
Compensation and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $ – $ per year. Additional rewards may include merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives, and long‑term incentives.
