ResponsibilitiesThe Position:
The Program Administrator partners with PMs to oversee the internal aspect of program deliveries. The role includes planning, task allocation, demand management, and prioritization in line with customers’ expectations and business needs. The administrator manages operational requirements by reviewing status reports and initiating actions, analyzing multiple data sets with various tools, leading and attending weekly meetings, and supporting internal groups as needed.
Demand Management
- Manage demand planning through CPL accuracy by ensuring PMO teams comply with established protocols.
- Analyze and revise the part‑list creation process to meet changing OEM/customer requirements.
- Assess demand date changes based on PMO priorities, supply‑chain capabilities, and contractual rules.
- Coordinate daily with internal groups to maintain timelines and close actions.
- Identify priorities and methodology to support customer delivery needs.
- Track purchase orders with airline customers and internal/external contacts; analyze timelines and communicate updates.
- Work with Material Planning on expedite requests and adjust demand dates to mitigate impacts on other programs.
- Schedule to meet on‑time delivery, applying FAA and PMA knowledge and coordinating with certification as needed.
- Analyze sales and forecast data, communicate financial/date movement recommendations, and manage risk reports.
Status Charts and Reports
- Develop and maintain analytic reports for senior and regional management, offering recommendations to improve aging trends and process efficiencies.
- Identify steps to resolve late orders, deliverables, and forecasting accuracy.
- Execute statistical analyses to track all program phases, determining actions and escalation needs.
- Communicate with worldwide sales and marketing teams to release holds and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Update work instruction and quick‑reference guides for department processes.
- Interpret complex reporting to determine supply, delivery, and readiness status, and plan corrective actions.
Meetings Lead
- Lead cross‑functional meetings.
- Conduct monthly meetings reviewing all programs to ensure scope of work is met, assigning actions and determining escalation.
Support
- Assist program managers with internal operational efficiencies as project administrators oversee delivery schedules.
- Provide support to other internal departments when program managers are unavailable.
The hourly rate ranges from $22.60 to $37.98 and represents only one component of Panasonic’s total package. Final offers may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location. The role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree in program/project management, business management, or two years of relevant work experience in business management, project management, or office/operations management.
- Two years of experience in the aircraft industry is highly desired.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Oracle experience highly desired.
- Responsible, professional, and organized with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Good judgment in evaluating criteria to achieve results and move projects forward.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism across all organizational levels and with customers.
- Ability to perform well under pressure with people from diverse cultural and political backgrounds.
