The National Accounts Sr. Market Analyst provides support to the National Accounts team through reporting, administration, and coordination with key stakeholders.
Office/
Location:
Based out of Irvine, CA office.
Market Reporting:
- Leads management and coordination of commercial reporting processes and systems:
Anaplan, Power BI, Nielsen, (Internal) - Monitors and provides National Accounts Team & MHUSA with detailed analysis of brand and customer performance, identifying gaps, opportunities through trend analysis (Internal)
- Supports National Accounts leads and team with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed (Internal)
Administrative:
- Supports Vendor and Purchase Order management (e.g., facilitates vendor set up process & processing of PO’s) (Internal & Vendor Facing)
- Supports with invoice coding, reclasses and T&E budget management (Internal)
- Supports Sr. Manager, Commercial Performance & Planning with A&P Tracking and accruals (Internal)
- Manages POS allocation and reconciles POS reporting through ePOS system and internal reporting (Internal)
Coordination:
- Supports the National Accounts Team with select internal and external team meetings (Distributor / Account Facing)
- Assists with regional coordination regarding report and feedback consolidation, meeting preparation, and logistics (Internal)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required.
Professional Experience
2-3+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within consumer packaged goods, retail and/or wine and spirits.
Practical/Technical Knowledge
- Well-developed finance and budget management skills
- Ability to perform data analysis and financial modeling using advanced Excel functions
- Able to work with all levels of the organization
- Able to learn and master various systems (SAP, ePOS, PowerBI, Anaplan, Nielsen)
- Interpersonal relationship skills
- Comfortable with large data sets and learning internal database systems
- Organized and able to prioritize work Overall revenue, margin, and growth
- Quality, execution, and timeliness of business analysis materials in support of Account Leaders
MH USA Systems (for information only)
- APO for sales forecasting
- Power BI for reporting
- Anaplan as source of information
- Excel for ad hoc reporting
