Salesforce Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to bridge business strategy and technology across its lending platforms. This individual will partner with business leaders and engineering teams to gather requirements, develop user stories, support Agile delivery, and optimize Salesforce-driven business processes. The ideal candidate combines deep Business Analyst expertise with strong Salesforce knowledge and experience in highly regulated financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and gather business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Refine and maintain the Agile backlog to ensure development-ready requirements.
• Analyze Salesforce configurations, business processes, and data to support scalable solutions.
• Map current and future-state workflows across lending operations.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scenarios, validating functionality, and documenting defects.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Compliance to ensure successful delivery.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to improve requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and analysis.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Business Analyst or Salesforce Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Strong Salesforce expertise with a solid understanding of objects, flows, validation rules, security, and configuration.
• Salesforce Administrator certification or prior Salesforce Administration experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with:
• Requirements gathering
• User story development
• Acceptance criteria
• Process mapping
• UAT support
• Experience with in highly regulated industries, preferably:
• Residential Mortgage (preferred)
• Commercial Mortgage
• Banking or Financial Services
• Investment Banking
• Escrow or Appraisal
• Experience using AI tools to enhance business analysis and documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead discovery sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Residential mortgage lending experience.
• Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), underwriting, pricing, or servicing platforms.
• Understanding of API-based integrations and enterprise data flows.
• Experience with lending products such as DSCR, bridge, fix-and-flip, or build-for-rent loans.
