• Salary Range: $60,990 - $67,410
• Anticipated Cost of Living Adjustment: $19,200.00 (COLA)
• Total Compensation Range: $80,190 - $86,610 (Salary + COLA)

The Coordinator of Supplier Diversity is an entry-level, project‑focused role responsible for supporting the implementation of supplier diversity initiatives on assigned project. This position assists the Manager of Supplier Diversity, project leadership, procurement, estimating, and field teams in executing small business inclusion, workforce development, community engagement, and trade partner enhancement strategies. The coordinator helps ensure project teams understand client requirements, engage qualified small and local businesses, monitor and report compliance, and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and industry partners.

• Pre‑Construction:
  Support early engagement with potential clients, community partners, small business liaisons, small business trade partners, small business support organizations, workforce development organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders; assist with outreach coordination, meeting preparation, follow‑up communication, and documentation of market intelligence.
• Marketing / Business Development:
  Help promote Hensel Phelps and the Supplier Diversity program by preparing outreach materials, success stories, small business participation data, community engagement summaries, and event support materials for pursuits and relationship‑building activities.
• Market Assessment:
  Assist with identifying local business participation opportunities, workforce development needs, training resources, small business capacity gaps, and market trends; maintain information that helps project and regional teams understand available local small business capabilities and capacity.
• Procurement / Project Pursuit:
  Support RFP reviews by helping identify small business participation, workforce development, community involvement, and outreach requirements; assist with proposal content, outreach summaries, small business participation plans, workforce development plans, and community involvement plans.
• Small Business Trade Partner Evaluation:
  Gather and maintain information on small business capabilities, capacity, certifications, bonding, safety, quality, documentation readiness, and project experience for new and existing trade partners.
• Estimating Engagement:
  Support estimating and procurement teams by reviewing solicitation lists, recommending qualified small businesses, tracking small business participation, reviewing small business responsiveness, assisting with bid room documentation, and supporting communication between Hensel Phelps and trade partners.
