Landscape Construction Superintendent
Location:
Inland Empire
Work Hour: 6am-3pm
Salary: $60K-90K(DOE)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Construction Superintendent to join a well-established construction company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality projects. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously
- Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform pre- and post-construction inspections, assess project feasibility, and recommend improvements
- Ensure all projects are completed according to plans, within budget, and on schedule
- Collaborate closely with landscape architects, developers, and clients throughout each project
- Manage equipment usage, maintenance, and storage efficiently
- Work with Foremen to ensure crews perform safely, productively, and in compliance with regulations
- Plan daily work schedules, assign teams, provide training, and supervise on-site staff
- Assist in hiring, coaching, and evaluating field personnel as needed
- Ensure crews have proper safety conditions, hydration, and rest periods according to labor laws
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a C-27 Landscaping Contractor License
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing crews and projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape construction or related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, landscape plans, and specifications
- Strong project planning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Basic to intermediate computer skills preferred
