OHLA USA, Inc. is seeking a Regional Chief Estimator for the Irvine, CA office. This is a full‑time, in‑office position.

• Responsible for all aspects of the estimating process.
• Conduct thorough analysis of drawings and specifications, ensuring required information is provided.
• Perform detailed project cost estimates using software such as HCSS.
• Research selected products from a cost and constructability perspective.
• Solicit sub‑contractor pricing and bids for different trades in preparation of cost estimate.
• Review progress and construction documents for constructability; lead and participate in discussions regarding alternate detail and materials for specific areas or trades.
• Provide and present value‑engineering options and costs.
• Provide and present estimating productions and scheduling.
• Coordinate administrative staff in sending documents to vendors.

• College degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10+ years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• Substantial construction experience and/or engineering background.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and means.
• Local industry knowledge.
• Fluent in English – written and oral.

• Highly proficient in selected software (Excel, Word, Outlook); experienced with HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software and P6 a plus.
• Ability to make decisions, work independently, and coordinate with estimating colleagues.
• Ability to meet critical project deadlines and work as a team member.

The base salary range offered for this position is USD $ to $ per year for California. Salary may vary based on experience, education, and performance.
