READ THIS FIRST WHO THIS ROLE IS FORThis role is for a writer who can say the right thing in the fewest words, making complex ideas feel simple, clear, and instantly understandable without over-explaining.
You believe the best copy feels effortless. Plain English. Clean. Human. If something needs to be explained three different ways, it usually was not thought through well enough.
You understand that:
- we do not sell people
- we show them
- we tell stories
And most importantly, you know what story to tell and when
.
When someone encounters a product for the first time, only a few things matter:
- the form factor
- a small set of critical signals like icons, bullets, or cues
- the feeling it gives off
That alone is a story.
Once the product is picked up, the story expands. Not louder. Not longer. Just clearer. More intentional. A little magic. Still simple.
This role is for someone who can write at every altitude while keeping momentum, clarity, and taste intact.
WHO THIS ROLE IS NOT FORThis is not for someone who writes long to feel smart.
Not for someone who defaults to marketing language, buzzwords, or filler.
Not for someone who needs heavy direction for every task.
This is not a remote role. We build in-house. Proximity matters.
POSITION OVERVIEWWe are building an elite, fully in-house creative team. This role sits at the intersection of copy, collaboration, and execution.
You will own how turn speaks to its customers across packaging, product messaging, pamphlets, inserts, the turnapp, and the website. In addition, you will act as a lightweight creative project manager for copy-driven work, ensuring tasks move forward, stay organized, and ship on time.
You will create and maintain the source of truth for brand voice, tone, and messaging, and ensure it is applied consistently across every consumer-facing touchpoint.
Every word should:
- make sense immediately
- feel human
- respect the reader’s intelligence
- reflect the brand’s voice, moment, and year
The voice lives somewhere between:
- Ryan Reynolds / Deadpool without the violence or overuse of profanity
- punk rock, but self-aware
- confident, not loud
- honest, not polished
We work harder than we celebrate. That is just how it is.
The copy should reflect that while still knowing how to read the room, feel the vibe, and evolve as culture and the brand change year to year.
