The Instructional Video Designer designs and creates engaging, high-quality instructional video content that supports client adoption and advances R365’s learning and certification strategy. This role combines creative visual storytelling with instructional expertise—developing original media assets that transform complex product concepts into compelling, easy-to-understand learning experiences.
Instructional Video Designersoperatewith creative autonomy todeterminevisual approach, pacing, and structure. They manage multiple concurrent projects, scoping timelines and deliverables, and ensuring consistent alignment with instructional objectives, brand standards, and project goals. This position requires both creative judgment and strong project management discipline to balance artistry with precision and delivery efficiency.
How you'll add value:- Design and create custom instructional videos.
- Design and create custom content videos including animations and motion graphics.
- Develop, create, and packageSCORM-compliant curriculum.
- Create and author scripts, narration, and on-screen text that simplify complex product concepts.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to develop storyboards that align instructional intent withvideo creation.
- Scope and manage multiple concurrent projects,determining level of effort (LOE), project timelines, and sequencing to meet delivery deadlines.
- Organize and manage project assets—intaking, cataloging, andmaintainingfootage and production libraries to ensure version control and efficient reuse.
- Maintain visibility into all assigned deliverables by updating project milestones, task progress, and PSA records for team alignment and reporting.
- ManageestablishedAI-assisted workflows to streamline production and improve quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with editors, instructional designers, and project leads to ensure consistent, high-quality project deliverables.

- Successful implementation of instructional design parameters
- 3-5+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, or instructional media creation.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), Camtasia, and animation tools (Blender).
- Demonstrated ability tocreate original instructional scripts, media assets, and visual narratives that support defined learning objectives.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant packaging.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability toleveragelarge language models (LLMs), custom GPTs, or AI workflows to enhance instructional and production efficiency.
- Experience with in SaaS, restaurant, or technology education contexts.
- Background in instructional design or learning and development.
- Experience mentoring peers in storytelling, visual design, or production processes.
