Community Associate

The opportunity

As a Community Associate, you'll work closely with new and existing customers across a myriad of industries, helping to create and maintain your own community within your center. You will handle all administrative and support needs for your customers so they can focus on running their business.

A typical day at IWG

You arrive before the center opens to ensure everything is ready. Customers arrive throughout the morning with various requests (e.g., WiFi code, package status, directions, or setting up a projector). You ensure services are properly charged and invoices are accurate. After a coffee break, you handle mail, respond to customers, and process requests such as printing and invoicing. If a center room is too hot or has another issue, you open a ticket in our service portal.

In the afternoon, you meet with the Community Manager to plan networking events, create e-invites, and post notices around the center. You may also engage with a prospect and share what makes the space valuable. The day ends with tidying the space and closing procedures.

About you

We’re looking for someone who can manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service. You should be:

  • A good communicator with the ability to build professional relationships and empathize with people’s needs (Ideally 1+ years of customer service experience)
  • Happy taking ownership of problems and finding solutions
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable to fast-changing situations
  • Experience and confidence using MS Office and other basic IT equipment
  • Legally eligible to work in the country you are applying within and at least 18 years old
