We are seeking a customer-focused, organized, and knowledgeable professional to join our service team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repair, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive experience from check-in to vehicle pickup. The ideal candidate is skilled at building trust, communicating clearly, and coordinating effectively with technicians and internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities- Greet customers promptly and professionally, listen carefully to their concerns, and document vehicle issues accurately.
- Write repair orders and clearly communicate customer requests, symptoms, and vehicle information to the service team.
- Provide updates to customers regarding inspection findings, recommended services, repair progress, and estimated completion times.
- Present maintenance and repair recommendations in a clear, respectful, and transparent manner.
- Coordinate with technicians, parts teams, and service management to support efficient workflow and timely completion of work.
- Review completed repairs with customers and explain invoices, services performed, and any follow-up needs.
- Schedule appointments, manage customer follow-up, and help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle questions, concerns, and service-related issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and service history.
- Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready service drive and waiting area.
- Previous experience in automotive service, customer service, or a related client-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and approachable way.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computer systems, service software, Microsoft outlook, excel, word, and basic office tools.
- Professional, courteous, and dependable approach to customer interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff, and leadership.
- Proficient understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Experience explaining repair recommendations and maintaining customer trust.
- Familiarity with dealership repair operations.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, service-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences.
