ARCHITECTURAL INTERMEDIATE DESIGNER - Irvine

TCA is looking for an Intermediate Designer who is passionate about design and takes pride in finding unique solutions to sometimes difficult urban sites. This individual is part of a team and able to use their design skills to turn ideas into reality. The ideal candidate has the high level skills with Sketch Up, Revit, and Adobe Suite to quickly generate concept sketches for multi-family, hospitality, and mixed-use design in a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate is also able to express design thinking clearly and concisely to firm leaders, colleagues, and clients.

• Strong design and form-giving skills required
• 3 - 5 years of experience in architecture, ideally with 2-3 years in multi-family design
• Proficient in Sketch-Up, Revit and Adobe Suite
• Ability to create architectural designs and concepts through hand sketching and drafting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship

• Bachelors in Architecture required
• Ideally started on the path to licensure

The Intermediate Designer will be located in our downtown Irvine office. We offer a hybrid schedule of working three days in the office and Thursday - Friday from home.

$38.50 - $43.00/hour ($80,080 - $89,440/year)

Nestled between the beach and the hub of business headquarters in Irvine, the Irvine studio is conveniently located just one mile from John Wayne Airport with easy access to many of California's major freeways, including the 405, 5, 73, and Pacific Coast Highway (PCH.). Led by Irwin Yau, TCA-OC is the most centralized studio. The staff enjoys being literally sandwiched between two of Southern California's largest fashion and dining destinations (South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island.)
