Position: Architectural Designer (Entry Level)

HPA is seeking a motivated Architectural Designer with 0–3 years of professional experience to join our Irvine team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of industrial projects across all phases of design, from concept through construction administration.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative designer who is eager to grow in a fast-paced studio environment and contribute to the development of high-quality, buildable designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively multitask across multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in the design and documentation of industrial projects from schematic design through construction administration
  • Prepare and maintain drawing sets using AutoCAD (daily use);
    Revit proficiency is a plus
  • Produce presentation materials including plans, elevations, and exhibit visualizations
  • Communicate effectively with city officials to support project progress and approvals
  • Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to develop and refine drawing sets
  • Support senior staff with technical detailing, construction documents, and submittals
  • Participate in construction administration tasks such as RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture (required)
  • 0–3 years of relevant architectural experience
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience in design development and construction documentation
  • Knowledge of construction methods and building systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
