We are seeking an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER / DRAFTER to join our Civic & Community section in Irvine, CA. This hybrid position requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Irvine office.
What You Will Do- Undertake a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of larger projects.
- Perform design layouts and features, researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
- Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards and implement changes as directed.
- Assist project teams and other staff members as required.
- Demonstrated skills in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, Sketch Up modeling, Adobe Photoshop, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Excellent problem‑solving and independent thinking with strong listening skills and follow‑through.
- Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of post‑graduate / professional experience or A/E/C internship.
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture (required).
- Recent experience working on architectural projects within the United States.
- Knowledge of U.S. building codes, permitting processes, and construction practices.
- Commitment to professional growth as designer, architect, or planner.
- Commitment to obtaining licensure preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. The salary range is $71,000 – $75,000, with placement within this range determined by education, qualifications, project complexity, and experience. In addition to base salary, benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; pre‑tax Flexible Spending Plans for medical, childcare, and commuter expenses;
Employee Stock Ownership Plan; and 401(k).
