Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Architecture Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and execution of high-quality residential projects from concept through construction. This individual will play a key role in coordinating internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with design intent.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple residential architectural projects, including single family detached and multifamily projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from schematic design through construction administration
- Coordinate with internal design teams to ensure alignment of design vision, technical documentation, and project milestones
- Review and manage construction documents, specifications, and consultant drawings
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements
- Lead project meetings, track action items, and provide regular status updates to Principals
- Support value engineering efforts and resolve design or construction challenges
- Participate in site visits and construction observation to maintain quality control
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in residential architecture and project management
- Licensed Architect (preferred but not required)
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and detailing
- Experience managing projects through all phases of design and construction
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and project management tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with production housing or high-end residential projects
- Familiarity with California codes and permitting processes
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills
