Concrete Detailer
We are looking for a full-time, in-house salaried, main office engineering department position. The detailer/draftsperson will produce concrete and formwork shop drawings primarily using Auto Cad. Utilizing the architectural and structural drawings, the concrete detailer shall prepare accurate concrete layout drawings, floor plans and elevation views identifying slab edges, construction joints, elevations etc. The detailer will be required to generate project specific shop drawings with detailed formwork make-up/production drawings for columns, walls, parapets and elevated concrete slabs.
Detailer will work closely with the project formwork superintendent and will be the primary point person and liaison between each projects field formwork superintendent and our Irvine, CA yard makeup facility with regard to formwork make-up orders and deliveries. The detailer will shepherd the formwork process of each project from conception to completion. This position reports directly to the Chief Detailer and will work under the direction of the Formwork Operations Manager.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of concrete formwork detailing experience
- Carpenter formwork experience a plus
- Minimum of 2 years Auto Cad experience
- BIM – (Revit experience a plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel etc.)
- Must be able to work on multiple projects (2-5) simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits:
- Base salary $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience level.
