Luxury Fitness Club Development Architect

Our client owns and operates over 675 fitness clubs throughout the USA and Canada. The Development Department is responsible for designing, entitling and constructing fitness clubs across the country. A typical development year will produce 45 to 50 new clubs. The latest development product is a high end boutique exercise fitness club. Best in class.

Qualified candidates must be passionate about design excellence and high performance projects, have a minimum of 5 years architectural experience and an architectural degree and ideally a licensed professional. This position deals with the initial concept and schematic design of all projects, including site planning, building design and floor planning expertise for commercial/retail type buildings. CAD ability is required and a daily part of the position (prefer Autocad and/or Vectorworks) for designing/coordinating with our consultant architectural firms.

Photo Shop and/or Skechup skills are a plus. Construction knowledge is required in order to review construction drawings and to maintain development design standards.
