HPA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Data Center to help lead and grow our expanding Data Center practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional who wants to lead complex mission‑critical projects while building toward a long‑term leadership role with a clear path to becoming the Director – Data Center Practice Leader.

We are strategically expanding our presence in the rapidly growing data center sector and are looking for an experienced leader to help drive project success while contributing to the future growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities Project & Technical Leadership- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation data center campuses (20MW–100MW+) spanning 20 to 100+ acres.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, from programming and planning through construction administration.
- Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and technical coordination with engineering consultants on integrated building systems, utility infrastructure, and redundancy strategies for resilient, high-performance facilities.
- Serve as a primary client contact and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, operators, and technology companies.
- Contribute to the continued growth and market presence of HPA's Data Center Practice.
- Mentor and support project teams while promoting technical excellence and best practices.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and practice development.
- Represent HPA at industry events and helps establish the firm's presence in the data center market
- Licensed Architect required (AIA preferred).
- 15+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Strong client-facing and business development experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- Data center planning and design
- Mission‑critical planning & redundancy concepts
- Complex building systems coordination
- Long‑term facility flexibility and scalability

- Competitive salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and leadership capabilities.
