The company provides PreK–Middle school auxiliary learning services through science and technology, delivering full-cycle services to foster critical thinking, logical skills, and goal attainment using innovative teaching techniques. More than 400 students are enrolled in Think Academy Irvine classes.

Who we are looking for

Think Academy Irvine is seeking a Full-Time Onsite Math Content Teacher. Content Teachers should understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy’s curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and use diverse teaching methods to meet the needs of students.

Part I – AMC Competition Coach

• Teach 2–3 AMC competition classes (approximately 5-7.5 hrs) per week
• Design year-round AMC preparation plans
• Develop problem sets, mock exams, and training materials
• Track student progress and competition readiness
• Contribute to consistent, measurable AMC outcomes at the campus level

Part II – Middle School Academic Lead (Grades 6–8)

• Design and refine the middle school math academic pathway
• Ensure alignment between:
  Advanced tracks, AMC competition preparation
• Provide academic guidance and content support to middle school teachers
• Participate in academic diagnostics for middle school students
• Serve as an academic authority in parent-facing academic discussions when needed

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; all majors welcome if passionate about kids and math teaching;
  Education or STEM-related majors are preferred
• You are eligible to apply if you are pursuing or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor's degree
• Prior math teaching experience is not required, but a big plus
• Strong personal background in math competitions (AMC / AIME / national or regional awards)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly responsible and enjoy working with kids
• Can commit to at least one whole semester of teaching (Spring Jan–May; Summer Jun–Aug; Fall Aug–Dec)
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends
