Professor of Marketing

The School of Business and Economics at Concordia University Irvine (Irvine, CA) invites applications for a full-time faculty appointment beginning Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship at the university level primarily in the discipline of Marketing, with secondary duties in Communications and other business disciplines. Candidates must be able to advance the mission and core convictions of Concordia University Irvine as a Great Commission University with a clear commitment to integrating their Christian faith into teaching, relationships with students and colleagues, and engagement with prospective students and families.

This is a full-time, in-person faculty position with rank and salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

• Teach lower-division courses in Marketing, Communications, and other disciplines as needed by the department.
• Teach graduate courses in the MBA programs as conditions permit.
• Teach core business courses such as Ethics, Finance, Management, and Operations.
• Serve as a business club Faculty Advisor, on one or more committees or in another capacity.
• Support departmental initiatives, including on-campus speaking engagements, supplemental instruction, and prospective student recruitment events.
• Develop new courses as needed by the department.
• Network and maintain relationships in the business community.
• Participate in extra‑curricular and co‑curricular events in support of students, business programs, and community events.
• Model, exhibit, and encourage behavior that supports the business school and university’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.

• Master’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum 2‑5 years of teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in course development preferred.
• 5+ years of business experience.
