Position: Repair the World Service Coordinator at OC Hillel

Repair the World Service Coordinator Role Overview

Are you passionate about Jewish values and building a vibrant community through service? Join OC Hillel as the Repair the World Service Coordinator and make your mark on Jewish student life while mobilizing the next generation of Jewish leaders through meaningful service!

As part of a groundbreaking partnership between OC Hillel and Repair the World, you will create and lead high-quality Jewish service programs within Orange County Hillel's multi-campus umbrella (Chapman University, University of California Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, and local community colleges). You'll build one-on-one relationships with students, design impactful service experiences that address community needs, and inspire young adults to make a lifelong commitment to service and Jewish life.

You’ll also partner with local direct service organizations, facilitate Jewish learning connected to service and create opportunities for connection and bridge building within and beyond the Jewish community.

OC Hillel engages with over 800 Jewish students and is ready to deepen impact through transformative Jewish service programming. You'll join a stellar team of energized staff who focus on excellence, collaboration, professional development, and a thirst for knowledge, while also receiving support from a national network of Jewish service professionals through Repair the World. As the Repair the World Service Coordinator, you'll wake up each day genuinely excited and enthusiastic about creating an inviting place where students serve, learn, and strengthen the community.

This is so much more than your average 9-to-5.

The ideal person for this role will use stellar communication and relationship-building skills to engage students through service as a pathway into Jewish life and learning. You will be a great fit for this role if you naturally spark conversations wherever you go, see every interaction as an opportunity to connect, have an infectious curiosity about the world, and believe deeply that service in support of social change is vital to a flourishing Jewish community.
