Position Overview
The Department of Informatics in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences has the occasional need for Unit 18 Faculty to assist in delivering a diverse curriculum. The department is highly interdisciplinary with faculty and student backgrounds in anthropology, computer science, design, education, health informatics, humanities, media arts, organizational studies, psychology, software engineering, and more. Applicants should have a graduate degree (Ph.D. or M.S) in an area related to Informatics or an equivalent combination of education/experience. A compelling teaching portfolio, as well as a clear vision for teaching to a diverse audience at the university level, is highly desired. This recruitment is for potential openings in the future (i.e., an open pool) and does not guarantee availability.
SalaryRange
A reasonable estimate for this position ranges from $70,977 to $199,722 for a full-time appointment; actual salary will be based on appointment percentage and where the candidate falls within the provided salary scale range. Please see salary scale here ().
