Reggio Emilia inspired preschool environment in an Infant/Toddler classroom. Candidates must have experience as an Infant/Toddler teacher.

We are looking for full‑time early childhood educators that will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Shifts will vary during school hours, between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The school environment is creative, safe and nurturing, where children explore and learn through an emergent curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Provide daily instruction and support in an Infant/Toddler classroom in a Reggio-inspired setting. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Support the developmental, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children in the class. Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Talk and hear; use hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or keyboards; reach with hands and arms; occasionally move, lift, or carry weights ranging from 10‑40 pounds; walk or stand for up to four (4) hours at a time with a 10‑minute break; squat, bend and stoop to a significant degree; reach overhead while balancing approximately 10 lbs; push and pull approximately 10 lbs;

meet vision abilities including close, distance, and peripheral vision.

• 12 or more units of Early Childhood Education coursework, including:
  Child Development, Child, Family, Community, Early Childhood Curriculum/Practicum/Guidance, and Infant/Toddler Curriculum.
• Official or non‑official transcripts proving completion of all California state licensing ECE/CD/HD coursework. Email transcripts to sheilad and lindaj.
• US citizenship and proof of citizenship.
• Adult and child CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification before hire date.

$35,000 – $45,000
