Position Overview
Temporary, full or part‑time Lecturer for the academic year at the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business. Compensation is $70,977-$199,722 and is determined by the UC salary scales, rank and step at appointment.
ResponsibilitiesLecturers are expected to teach courses across undergraduate and graduate programs, including some courses that may be taught at night, on weekends, or during summers. Lecturers may also be asked to develop online or hybrid courses consistent with the School’s objectives.
Lecturer appointments are term appointments. A typical appointment is for one quarter, but can vary by percentage of time depending on the number and nature of courses assigned.
Disciplines available include Accounting, Economics/Public Policy, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations and Decision Technologies, Organization and Management, and Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
QualificationsProfessional expertise and/or previous teaching experience is required. Advanced degrees are preferred.
