Your Role on the Team Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Includes essential functions of Teacher while acting as the Lead Teacher in the classroom. The Assistant Director, in absence of the center Director, is responsible for the daily operation of the Infant Toddler Center:

  • Establishing goals and objective
  • Fiscal / budget planning
  • Programmatic
  • Personnel: initiate hiring procedures, ensure staff meets and maintains minimum level of education and personal health requirements
  • Parent communication
  • Facility and grounds management
  • Supervise and direct services for students, staff, faculty and community families served by the center

Required:

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training Has and maintains applicable Child Development Permit (Site Supervisor or higher). If working in an infant or toddler room, has at least 3 infant units. Has a minimum of 6 semester units in administration and supervision of child development programs. Has and maintains current child CPR and first aid certificates Special Conditions:
Has health screening clearance and negative TB test, documentation of MMR and TDap immunizations as required by Community Care Licensing Pass FBI and DOJ criminal check with approval from Dept. of Social Services Conditions of Employment:
