Position DescriptionThe Department of English and the Programs in Writing at the University of California, Irvine, is conducting a search for an assistant, associate, or full professor specializing in creative writing (fiction). Candidates are expected to have a significant publication record. Candidates need to have a strong commitment to and preferably experience teaching in the studio arts model. Candidate will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate level courses.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold an MFA, and/or Ph.D.
Indicate the candidate’s teaching experiences to date, including experience with teaching undergraduates/graduate students, or other populations, as well as their areas of interest. This should also include mentorship that they have given to others in the line of research or outreach activities.
