The Adeline Yen Mah Vaccine Center in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at the University of California, Irvine is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department invites applications for a non-senate Assistant Adjunct Professor to participate in research and other academic activities as well as university and public service in an academic medical center environment.
PrincipalResponsibilities
The successful candidate manage the Lipid Nanoparticle Core Facility, interface with the UCI GMP Facility and will have the opportunity to work with a large group of scientists in the School of Medicine and across the UCI campus as well as the opportunity to develop extramurally funded research programs on the cutting edge and to provide leadership in genetic medicine and vaccine research.
The Department provides excellent opportunities for research, teaching, mentorship and other academic interest opportunities to medical and graduate students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
