The Department of History at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in post-1945 Korean History, beginning July 2027. The hire will contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs and support the growth of the Center for Critical Korean Studies.
Applicants should have a research portfolio rooted in the post-1945 period and the ability to work with Korean language historical sources; teaching and service will also be expected.
