Salary range

$73,817 - $90,786

The Department of Physics and Astronomy anticipates possible temporary positions for Lecturers for the  academic year. These positions usually become available as unexpected needs arise shortly before the start of a quarter. Positions are generally for one quarter at a time and are at varying percentages, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned. Applicants must possess a Ph.D., and have a good teaching record.

Appointments may be effective (Fall Quarter) October 1, 2026 (Winter Quarter) January 1, 2027 (Spring Quarter) April 1, 2027.
