Job Title: Senior Staff Engineer – Data Center Electrical Systems
Location: Irvine, CA
Employment Type: Full‑Time

• Act as a technical authority on data center electrical systems within the product development team.
• Define electrical requirements and use cases for applications supporting data center planning, operation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with software engineers to translate electrical concepts into functional application features.
• Review designs, calculations, and workflows to ensure technical accuracy and industry relevance.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise to global customers and internal teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, redundancy schemes, grounding, and protection in data centers.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including software or product development teams.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex electrical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Masters degree preferred;
  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field minimum.

• Experience with electrical modeling, simulation, or analysis tools used in data center environments.
• Product‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable customer impact.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and software‑driven workflows.
• Strong collaboration skills built on trust, accountability, and technical leadership.

Salary Range: $82,500.00 – $ (final compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, and education).
