Implementation Manager; 5G

Overview

Rollout Manager leads deployment of 5G radios, massive MIMO antennas, and small/macro cell sites with a focus on wireless integration, installation, and field execution. Fiber backhaul is considered, but the emphasis is on RF performance, radio installation, and field safety compliance.

• Lead end-to-end rollout of 5G Node B / MIMO sites, including massive MIMO antenna installations on rooftops, towers, poles, and street furniture
• Manage installation, integration, and commissioning of 5G radios and supporting equipment
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards: RF exposure, fall protection, electrical safety, OSHA, and municipal safety codes
• Coordinate light transport integration as needed (fiber or microwave) but focus on wireless delivery
• Perform site surveys, constructability reviews, and RF validation
• Oversee vendors, contractors, municipalities, and utilities to ensure safe, on-time site completion
• Lead on-site QA/QC and first-pass acceptance of Node B/MIMO installations
• Track rollout KPIs: schedule, cost, quality, safety, and network performance metrics
• Prepare executive updates, dashboards, and site closeout package reports

• 10+ years leading wireless network rollout programs, preferably in Node B / massive MIMO deployments
• 15+ years in engineering, design, and deployment of wireless networks, including 5G , LTE, and small/macro cell architectures
• Hands-on experience in site installation, integration, commissioning, and RF related works

Major vendor experience preferred:
Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung
