Electrical Engineer

Overview

Electronic Product Design and Testing. The tasks will involve direct engineering validation of electronic hardware in a lab environment.

$91.00 - $109.50 per hour

We are looking for someone with strong hardware bring up and test skills to quickly assist existing hardware project in the early engineering evaluation phase.

• Experience with:
• Agilient high speed DSO and zero-stub differential probing techniques for multi-Gbps SERDES eye diagram analysis. PCIE. SDI, CML etc.
• Use of Jtag debuggers such as Partner jet 2 ARM and ST STM
  32 micro
• Use of various serial protocol analyzers for example ( USB2, SDI, I2C.SPI,etc)
• 8-10 years of experience with end-to-end electronic product design, including hands-on debug and verification experience
• Experience in embedded system architecture, digital design, microprocessor/DSP and memory systems, chip-to-chip interconnections, component selection, and power supply designrequired
• Experience with consumer or broadcast video system design, camera system design, audio circuit design, or high-speed digital design preferred
• Proficient using electronic test and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, DMMs, protocol analyzers, etc.)
• Understands importance of complete and correct hardware documentation
• Familiar with regulatory compliance testing such as EMI and EMC.

This will be fully on site in Orange County, CA. It will be for an immediate start for at least 4 months. Everything is required except for the preferred line item.
