Product Engineer, Systems Engineer
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.
As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
We are building the future of situational awareness. The Sentry platform integrates robotics, autonomy, hardware, and software to deliver mission‑critical capabilities in defense and security. With a rapidly growing fleet and an expanding set of modular hardware platforms, our product organization partners closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations to deliver complex systems at scale.
ABOUT THE JOBWe are looking for an Engineering Program Specialist to support engineering execution, development planning, and the systems and processes that enable efficient hardware development. This role sits within Product Management Organization and works day‑to‑day with hardware engineers, TPMs, and supply chain teams to ensure development builds, prototypes, and development units are properly planned, resourced, and delivered on time. You will actively drive clarity, improve how teams work, interface deeply with supply chain systems and tools, and lead continuous improvement efforts across the product development lifecycle.
You will also take on special projects critical to scaling our modular hardware platform, including material cutovers, configuration transitions, and process refinement.
- Partner closely with hardware engineering teams and TPMs to support development planning and execution across development builds.
- Help engineers and TPMs define material needs for development builds, including demand planning for new parts, prototypes, and test units.
- Track development materials end to end to ensure timely availability and minimize execution risk.
- Interface directly with supply chain teams including buyers, sourcing engineers, and material planners to support development material procurement.
- Translate engineering needs into actionable demand within supply chain tools and systems.
- Track material status, identify risks early, and proactively drive mitigation to maintain development schedules.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in engineering workflows, development planning, and material management processes.
- Drive improvements across internal engineering processes and external tools and systems (PLM, ERP, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Help standardize repeatable processes that enable faster, more predictable product development as the organization scales.
- Support material cutovers, configuration transitions, and change management for modular hardware platforms.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure clean transitions between revisions, configurations, and product variants.
- Help ensure development artifacts, BOMs, and material plans stay aligned through platform evolution.
- Act as a connective tissue between TPMs, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Provide clear communication, status tracking, and issue escalation to keep teams aligned and unblocked.
- Support special projects that improve overall product development efficiency and execution quality.
- Lead or contribute to targeted improvement initiatives that strengthen our product development operations.
- Take ownership of special projects that require cross‑functional coordination and execution focus.
- 3 years minimum experience in product development…
