- Collaborate with algorithm, software, and data engineering teams to define evaluation metrics and reporting requirements.
- Automate data pipelines and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of evaluation results.
- Present findings and insights to cross‑functional teams to support feature development and validation.
- Troubleshoot data and dashboard issues, ensuring high reliability and accuracy.
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with over 3 years of direct industry experience as a software engineer in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other real‑time, safety‑critical environments.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++, Python, and experience with ML frameworks, along with experience applying large‑scale software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Databricks, SQL, and dashboard development (e.g., Tableau, or similar tools).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience applying machine learning techniques to evaluate and analyze the performance of controls software in real‑world or simulated environments. Familiarity with automotive control systems and active safety algorithms is a plus.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining systems with core AWS services (such as S3, EC2, Lambda), and a solid understanding of cloud‑native architecture.
- Familiarity with autonomous systems development, including perception, planning, or control, or related fields such as robotics, simulation, or verification and validation.
- Demonstrated ability to systematically debug and identify root causes of issues.
- Background in automotive or embedded systems.
