We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient
** Staff III or higher
** to support and lead solid waste engineering projects across California and the western U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a strong background in civil or geotechnical engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the landfill and environmental infrastructure  this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on impactful environmental projects that shape communities and promote sustainability.

* ** What You'll Do:
*** Project Management & Technical Execution
* Manage and execute engineering projects related to solid waste, civil infrastructure, and geotechnical design, reporting directly to the Principal Engineer
* Lead engineering analyses using advanced geotechnical software tools for design and evaluation
* Oversee field activities ,including construction quality assurance (CQA) and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects
* Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, geotechnical investigations, and construction plans and specifications
* Client Interaction & Team Collaboration
* Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met
* Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement
** What You'll Bring:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
* California PE license required or the ability to obtain one within a year
* Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and/or geotechnical engineering with a focus on landfill projects
* Experience with geotechnical and groundwater investigation
* Landfill expansions and closure
* Groundwater monitoring and construction oversight
* Project management and client coordination
** Salary Range:**$95,000-$120,000
