EHS Engineer – SolventumAs an EHS Engineer you will support site EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, provide technical EHS support for equipment and product introductions, conduct risk assessments, assist with incident investigations, and support inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
Responsibilities- Support site EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulations, including regulatory reporting and tracking, while promoting a strong EHS culture.
- Provide technical EHS support for new or modified equipment, new product introductions, incoming material approval, and management of change.
- Conduct risk assessments and support implementation of corrective actions to reduce risk, drive continuous improvement, and improve overall site performance.
- Assist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action development.
- Support inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions, including preparation, participation, and follow-up.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND at least two years of experience in EHS in a private, public, government or military environment.
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND at least six years of experience in EHS in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with Plant Management and production employees.
- Strong attention to detail with effective prioritization and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001.
- Experience with hazardous waste management, stormwater management, lock-out/tag-out, machine guarding, and/or emergency response teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Certifications such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH);
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM);
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other related credentials.
Work location:
Onsite, Irvine, CA. Travel may include up to 5% domestic/international.

Compensation and BenefitsExpected compensation range: $85,200 - $117,150, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible.
