Compensation range: $135,000 to $176,065. Range based on our Irvine, CA office location. (West Yost uses geographic salary differentials that would apply for candidates in other regions).

Provide advanced technical leadership for the Cyber-Resilience Practice. Lead, mentor and manage technical teams, lead complex projects, and interface directly with clients to envision and deliver innovative, mission-critical solutions for water and wastewater utilities.

• SCADA Design, Master Planning, and Implementation
• Cybersecurity assessment, planning, and implementation
• Resilient network architecture design and implementation
• Risk and Resilience Assessments (RRAs)
• Facilitate Tabletop Exercises such as A Day Without SCADA®

• Technical Leadership & Project Delivery
  • Lead and execute complex OTCR programs and projects, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to budgets, and timely delivery.
  • Real world application of Cyber-informed Engineering (CIE) principles and Consequence-driven, Cyber-informed Engineering (CCE) assessments to evaluate and reduce the consequences of cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of work products prior to delivery to clients.
  • Project design and implementation in compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) §1433, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and other applicable standards.
• Client Engagement & Business Development
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, leading project meetings and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Prepare and review proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates; lead business development efforts.
  • Represent West Yost at industry conferences, workshops, and within professional organizations.
• Team Management & Mentorship
  • Manage and mentor a team of technical staff, providing guidance on workload management and career development.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for junior and mid-level staff.
• Strategic Initiatives & Innovation
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide strategic initiatives.
