• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out).
• Manage all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving multiple project staff.
• Produce, prioritize, pursue and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations; be involved with marketing, contractual commitments, design standards, and lead production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff, reviewing agencies and project sponsors/stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle; ensure quality deliverables and manage the critical path schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects; coordinate and adjust work effort to stay within budget and schedule.
• Work with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
• Actively lead and implement QA/QC procedures to ensure accuracy and clarity of deliverables.
• Supervise project staff and mentor less-experienced Project Managers, Engineers, or Engineers in Training.
• Perform periodic check-ins with staff to confirm deliverables meet schedule commitments.
• Other duties as needed including supervisory responsibilities of direct reports.

• 10 years related civil design and management experience.
• Project management experience on active design projects involving roadway and railway elements.
• Clear written and oral communication with a delivery team in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Familiarity with CAD / GIS / design calculation software to lead team members in production of engineering concepts, capital cost determinations, and design-level drawings.
• Ability to lead proposal development and client-focused pursuits for projects related to CEQA/NEPA to achieve environmental clearance through final design and construction.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience is a plus).
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
