Job Description:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for roadway, highway, and civil projects. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of construction estimating, cost analysis, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cost estimations for roadway, highway, and civil projects.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for the estimation process.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators.
- Contribute to the development of project budgets and schedules.
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and construction methods.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on roadway, highway, and civil projects.
- Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Leadership experience in a senior role.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

- Base Salary - USD $150,000 to $175,000
