AEG is seeking a motivated Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician / Industrial Hygienist to support a variety of field-based industrial hygiene and environmental health projects. This is a role ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on field work, diverse project sites, and working directly with clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct industrial hygiene field activities including:
- Air, noise, and vapor sampling
- Asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials assessments
- Indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations
- Perform EHS inspections and compliance assessments at industrial and commercial facilities
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain sampling equipment
- Accurately document field observations, sampling data, and chain-of-custody records
- Assist with data interpretation and preparation of technical reports
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and site personnel
- Travel frequently to project sites (often multi-day assignments)
- Follow company health, safety, and quality procedures at all times
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field (or equivalent field experience)
- 1–5+ years of relevant EHS or industrial hygiene field experience preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and basic industrial hygiene principles
- Experience with field sampling equipment and data collection
- Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Ability to lift and carry sampling equipment
- Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and varying weather conditions
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators
