The role encompasses the development of automated and manual test equipment and technical support for test strategies, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.

This position will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including design, systems, and manufacturing engineering—to drive the continuous improvement of test methodologies and product quality.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and document Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) aligned with product and customer requirements; support their implementation.
  • Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with applicable aerospace standards such as RTCA DO-160, DO-178C, and military equivalents.
  • Innovate and collaborate with stakeholders to define high-performance test solutions that meet or exceed safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Estimate resources required to complete projects, including labor, materials, necessary skills, and duration.
  • Provide testability input to new product designs; support qualification programs to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Design and document both manual and automated test equipment to support engineering development and manufacturing for new and existing programs.
  • Guide best practices for electrical system design and software development for multidisciplinary teams from a test strategy perspective.
  • Oversee development activities related to testing, simulation, and validation processes to ensure systems meet safety, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Support and review technical documentation, test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Ensure all work is in compliance with company policies, procedures, and processes.
