Purchasing Specialist – Irvine, CA

Kelly Services is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for a long-term position with one of our Global Clients based in Irvine, CA.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401k, and paid time off.

The Purchasing Specialist will support a group of internal Procurement professionals as well as external customers. While this is mainly support, we are looking for an experienced individual that understands Procurement and Supply Chain management.

• Coordination of Engineering Change Order (ECO) Process Preparation and management of quote requests
• Management of Purchase Order Process
• Support of Vendor and Client Invoicing
• Invoice Reconciliation
• PO and Invoice Problem Resolution
• Prepare Presentations as Requested

• Experience of 3+ years in a Procurement organization, preferably in the Medical Device industry. Other FDA regulated industries will be considered.
• Strong analytical/technical aptitude competence.
• Experience with Engineering Change Orders and Supplier Change requests preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP system being a SME is a plus, Document Control System and Excel.
• Experience working in a highly matrixed company environment.
• Experience working in Manufacturing Operations, specifically in a GMP environment is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
