Job Description
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. The prospective employee will specialize in high‑speed analog circuit design for wireline transceivers, determining design approaches and parameters. The engineer analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. They select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability and may review vendor capability to support product development.
Layout and design work is performed with state‑of‑the‑art CAD tools. The role involves problems of moderate scope where analysis requires a review of a variety of factors, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
