Must-Have
- Good knowledge in basics of FEA, Meshing, setting up the deck, execution, post-processing results and fatigue calculations.
- Must deliver full vehicle strength and durability, closure slam, suspension strength and durability, interior trim, cockpit strength and durability.
- Must carry out simulations on Vehicle Hardware Engineering Systems (Cockpit, Seat, Interior Trim, Door Trim, Exterior Trim, Body Structure, Closures, Tow Hook & Chassis) for durability requirements and regulations.
- FE analysis iterations by quick modification of FE models to evaluate possible countermeasures and provide design direction to the design team.
- Should be well-versed in performing simulation using CAE software like ANSA, Hypermesh, Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, and Ncode.
- Good knowledge of understanding test setup/results, correlating test results with CAE.
- Proficiency in Python would be an added advantage.
- Should have knowledge of AGILE and JIRA.
- Knowledge on optimization; should be able to provide directions to design teams in platform development is desirable.
- Sol 400 and Nastran.
- Knowledge of overall Automotive CAE development.
