Responsibilities
- Define and implement innovative and optimal analog and mixed‑signal circuit architectures and transistor‑level circuit solutions to meet challenging noise, distortion, power, and area requirements.
- Develop mixed‑signal analog systems including ADCs, PGAs, DACs, filters, drivers, power management, and low‑jitter clocking circuits.
- Use system‑level design tools (e.g., MATLAB) and transistor‑level design tools (e.g., Cadence Analog Artist) to create the circuits.
- Draw or oversee custom physical layout drawings of these circuits.
- Collaborate with others to define circuit‑board components to be used with these circuits.
- Define requirements for internal chip interfaces between the analog and digital circuits.
- Review the chip package pinout/ballout.
- Design PC test‑board schematics used for testing IC performance.
- Characterize IC performance using lab equipment.
- Debug performance problems identified during characterization of these analog circuits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of related experience.
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 – $172,800. The position also qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus and equity in accordance with the company’s equity plan.
