Role Overview Evaluate, test, and develop the total vehicle, noise and vibration, and ride & handling performance of North American Market Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles as a member of one of the Vehicle Test & Development groups. These groups support prototype and pilot vehicle development to ensure performance meets or exceeds customer expectations in all North American road and environmental conditions.##

What You Will Do
* Perform subjective evaluations and objective testing, investigate root causes, develop countermeasures, and report findings.
* Evaluate test vehicle performance from the North American customer perspective.
* Develop and execute test plans, coordinate test vehicles, and manage supplier activities.
* Plan, organize, and execute ride-and-drive activities for prototype and pilot vehicles.
* Benchmark competitor performance and establish development targets.
* Analyze customer feedback from internal and external sources.
* Utilize data acquisition systems and analysis software (Matlab, LMS Test Lab, HEAD Acoustics Artemi

* Conduct experimental Noise, Vibration, and Aeroacoustic investigations, including Sound Quality, Transfer Path, and Modal Analysis.
* Develop ride and handling performance through tire testing, component selection, damper tuning, and steering calibration.
* Interface with Engineering Design departments and R&D Headquarters in Korea.
* Support testing at the Hyundai California Proving Ground.
* Identify and develop new technologies and strategies for performance improvement.
* Create and present clear, concise technical reports.## What You Will Bring
* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
* 4-7+ years of relevant automotive engineering experience.
* Coursework in Vehicle Dynamics, Signal Analysis, Noise & Vibrations, Controls, and Human Factors is a plus.
* Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, chassis, and powertrain systems.
* Experience with experimental data acquisition and analysis software (Matlab, LMS Test.

* Proficiency in CAE analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
* Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
