Your ImpactWe’re looking for a Construction Manager/Resident to be based in the Irvine, CA area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients’ business and practices. Begin by managing zero‑emission bus and bus facility infrastructure projects, working with clients and contractors to apply construction practices such as change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, inspection, and day‑to‑day oversight.
By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast‑paced environment. You should also support and engage with teams, growing and pursuing what fulfills you, so we can make an impact on the future—big and small, global and local.
Here’swhat you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of proven experience in Construction Management and civil inspection on County Public Work projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, plans, specifications, and associated safety requirements.
- Knowledge of current and upcoming local, regional, state, and federal regulations governing design, construction, contracting, environmental, and safety measures.
- Experience with projects using alternative project delivery methods.
- Experience supporting clients on multiple capital projects.
- Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California.
- Proven experience and knowledge with Caltrans transportation projects.
