Position: Lead Engineer Data Coordinator (Engineering Services Supervisor) - Fluid Systems Division

Position Summary

A member of Parker Aerospace, you will develop and manage engineering services—including hardware and software configuration management, data management, and technical support—across the division. The role is a subject‑matter expert, advisor, and consultant to top management, and includes supervisory responsibility for staff at multiple sites.

Responsibilities
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge to develop and manage engineering service activities and perform complex assignments and analyses.
  • Formulate team objectives; design, develop, and implement systems and procedures of a complex nature to meet future business needs or regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend actions to division leadership regarding policies and procedures on critical matters, including research and interpretation of complex regulations.
  • Ensure processes and guidelines comply with company policy, legal requirements, and applicable government regulations.
  • Establish team goals and objectives, obtain necessary resources, assess risks, and develop contingency and communication plans for critical projects.
  • Establish reporting systems, review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
  • Represent the company on audits and program reviews; build and maintain communication with industry peers, government agencies, external vendors, and customers.
  • Share specialized knowledge with others, provide formal training, and mentor less experienced employees on cross‑functional or project team responsibilities.
  • Comply with federal and state legal requirements and professional standards; advise management on needed actions.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, professional networks, and society participation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience, including two or more years managing teams or projects of significant scope.
  • Advanced degree and specialty certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and internationally less than 5% of the time.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies in the area of administrative responsibility.
  • Ability to apply program management techniques and use program management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex or sensitive problems with incomplete data.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting information to team members, leaders, customers, and top management.
  • Proficiency with standard business applications such as databases and spreadsheets.
Typical Mental and Physical Demands

The employee is required to sit, use hands to operate a computer, and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally stand and walk. Close vision is required. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and manage multiple tasks are also necessary.

Competitive Compensation

Pay Range: $100,300 to $159,400 annually.

Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
